“I’ll wait ’till i’m older.”
I have heard it, I have said it, but the more I think about it, thats a scary statement. I had so much confidence in that statement assuming that I had time to repent and get right with God later down the road.
But when I hear someone say that, it is telling me that they know the truth– They know the right path– But they want to wait until that age when they can no longer enjoy sin so that they can get right with God. The day that they can’t enjoy sin… Think about that fun statement.
People always say, “What about that person on the island that has never heard of God?” Well, to be honest, if they can see what we have seen– heard and studied what we have studied– I think they would have surely repented.
I don’t think we could ever take Jesus’ second coming as serious as it needs to be. We always brush it off– we click to the next channel if there is something devastating because we just want to watch a sitcom and laugh. What is our purpose? What do we live for? And where did we go astray?
